Ferdinand Eisele GmbH in Birkenfeld near Pforzheim with its brand eXtra4
belongs to the highly specialized companies of identification technology in the
field of jewellery, watches and gemstones. Its main focus is the development and
production of barcode labels for product identification and process organization.
One and two-dimensional identification codes are used: bar codes such as EAN13,
2/5 Interleaved or Code 128, as well as matrix codes such as QR code or Datamatrix.
Which code can be used depends on various influencing factors. The necessary
code ultimately determines the dimensions of the label. We are happy to provide
detailed advice on the code suitable for the individual application and the optimum
labelling system for it.
Based on our in-house developed software, we offer easy-to-use systems for labelling - also for barcode labels. The core of the program is label printing. Users can expand the software individually via 8 program editions.
We provide a selected range of thermal transfer printers, because not every label printer is for jewellery and watches sufficiently precise. The "slimLine" series with an system for beginners is geared to the annual requirement of less than 5,000 labels. Up to 50,000 labels/year we recommend our desktop printers, above that our industrial segment. Barcode scanners round off our hardware range.
