The Maison Mauboussin, founded originally in 1827 in Paris, which became known as the „Artiste Joaillier“ (the Artisan of Jewellery), continues to fascinate women today with its often simple yet elegant creations.
In 2019 Mauboussin is exhibiting for the first time ever at INHORGENTA MUNICH. Its first store in Germany was opened in 2017 in Trier. Further sales points outside France are now being targeted.
After almost 200 years the designs are still characterized by the French Savoire-Faire and inspired by the emotions, style and passion of women’s originality and uniqueness. Mauboussin also plays strongly with the contrast of the colours of gold and Sterling silver, as well as with varying precious stones, to enable self-assured women to adorn themselves with contemporary and yet affordable jewellery.
Mauboussin developed the reputation as the „enfant terrible“ in the world of French jewellery, since it made a point of printing the prices of its offerings in all its advertisements. Something, the other French luxury brands have never done!
Even the names chosen for their designs, such as „Kiff & Kiss“ or „Mon Premier Pas d’Amour“, are original.
Until today Mauboussin remains financially independent and is one of the few brands which is not part of one of the dominating luxury groups.
Over the past years its jewellery production has been relocated back to Europe (approx. 98%). A significant portion of which is „Made in France“.
