Ute Decker Sculptural Jewellery in Ethical Silver
(
C2.614 )
Ethical jeweller Ute Decker to show jewellery in non-toxic bioresin at Inhorgenta Europe
With recycled silver and bioresin as her chosen materials, the German born artist-jeweller Ute Decker combines amorphic and architectural forms in her London studio to create minimalist sculptural jewellery as individual and limited edition pieces.
As a alternative to toxic resins traditionally employed in the jewellery industry, Ute Decker uses in her sculptural jewellery an environmentally friendly bioresin made from renewable sources – sunflowers.
Striving to apply the most sustainable studio practices, Ute Decker writes on ethical jewellery for the Goldsmith Magazine and has been invited to speak on the subject; while her website has become a focal point for information on ethical jewellery.
